The AGIP SINT series of lubricants is the latest generation of engine oils that are able to satisfy the needs of all modern engines, while complying and enhancing their performance requirements. The fast evolution of today’s engines, built with advanced technologies, has considerably increased the demand for better lubricants complying with more demanding specifications, higher fuel economy, more environmental friendly and able to withstand longer oil change intervals.

The AGIP SINT series meets the highest specifications required by ACEA (European Association of Automobile Manufacturers) and API (American Petroleum Institute). It is a top line series of engine oils with a lower SAE grade (making the lubricant thinner and therefore more fluid). The AGIP SINT series of lubricants is suitable for the majority of the car population.

AGIP SINT Evolution 0W-30 is full synthetic passenger car oil developed for the engines of the latest generation. The oil is suitable to be employed in petrol cars equipped with catalytic converter as well as in Diesel cars with naturally aspirated or turbocharged engine.

AGIP SINT Evolution 0W-30 withstands the deterioration conditions, especially oxidation deriving from prolonged exposure to high temperatures in the presence of air and other agents. The SAE grade of 0W-30 is specially recommended by engine builders for modern engines. The high fluidity allows a reduction of internal flow resistance, thus resulting in lower power losses due to internal friction inside the engine. Moreover, the oil quickly circulates at startup, thus reducing wear during this critical phase.

A considerable beneficial effect is on the fuel consumption and therefore on the exhaust emissions (CO, HC, NOx and particulate), thus reducing the environmental impact. The use of synthetic base stocks reduces oil volatility thus reducing oil consumption and prolonging the oil change intervals.

  • Specially selected synthetic base stocks and additives ensure that SINT Evolution maintains ideal viscosity under a wide range of conditions, reducing friction, fuel consumption and therefore noxious emissions 

AGIP SINT Evolution 5W-40 is full synthetic passenger car oil developed for the engines of the latest generation. The oil is specifically formulated to meet the requirements of the newest (16 valve/variable valve timing/catalysed) engines. Not only does this multigrade oil provide superior protection against wear and tear, through better lubrication it also helps to save fuel and reduce emissions of all types of pollutants.

AGIP SINT 2000 10W-40

AGIP SINT 2000 10W-40 is a synthetic engine lubricant designed to lubricate cars of the latest models even when operating under the most severe conditions.

It has passed with flying colours tests on sports cars, “hotted-up” engines and combined engine-gearbox-differential lubricating systems. The synthetic components help form an oily film which adheres tenaciously to metal surfaces even when the engine has been standing idle for some time thus ensuring easy starting and greatly reduced wear under high load conditions.

 


Properties and Performance

  • The presence of low-volatility synthetic components with high thermal stability reduces oil consumption due to volatility. The good detergent dispersant properties minimize the formation of lacquer and varnish, as well as sludge and other engine deposits.
